To be eligible to apply to the Winthrop University-York Technical College Bridge Program, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:

Be a high school graduate.
Have been accepted to York Technical College and have a valid York Technical College ID number.
Be actively enrolled at York Technical College for Fall 2025.
Have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
If applicable, have completed pre-collegiate coursework (ENG 032 and MAT 033) with a C or higher.

When you are ready to apply for transfer admission to the university, you will need to complete an application for admission as an undergraduate degree-seeking student.

Winthrop University and York Technical College have developed a partnership agreement for students who have chosen to take courses at York Technical College prior to transferring to Winthrop University to earn a bachelor’s degree. Students will be provided with program support and services from both institutions and upon successful completion of York Technical College courses, students are guaranteed admission to Winthrop University.

I am currently enrolled at York Technical College and I intend to enroll at Winthrop University following completion of the program at York Technical College. I agree to the following terms:

- Secure payment for the $295 annual bridge fee before the Monday, August 1, 2025 deadline. To pay online, please login to your Navigate account. (https://yorktech.navigate.eag/com/app/#/authentication/remote) After logging in, click on "Resources" then "Financial Aid & Payment Info." Find the link that says "Make a Payment". The annual bridge fee is non-refundable.
- Satisfy all conditions stated on this agreement and all other regular Winthrop University admissions requirements for transfer students.
- Apply as a transfer student and enroll at Winthrop University within one year of graduation or successful credit hour completion from York Technical College.
- I have read and understand the above statement regarding the requirements for the Winthrop University Bridge Program, and have discussed my educational plan with my York Technical College Enrollment Services Counselor or Advisor.

I authorize my information, as it relates to my academic history (i.e. transcript), to be shared between Winthrop University and York Technical College. I agree to pay $295 at the time of application submission for the Winthrop University Bridge Program.
